yay! It's been a long, long day, but filled to the brim with laughter, smiles and birthday wishes even from the weirdest of people (: Was my birthday as good as a built it up to be? More so (: See? You can never get disappointed when it comes to birthdays!!! Thanks to everyone who msned, msged, yelled out, sang, wrote, caked, break-muffin/pokeyed, ballooned and hugged HAPPY BIRTHDAYs cos they all meant so very much to me (: And to everyone who spoilt me rotten, you guys were all so sweet and i'm very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very touched (((((((((((((((((: (haha all seventeens.. i wonder why!)
School started off great with Tree's fantastic first hug of the day, which gave me that bit of no nut love that i was afraid of missing terribly! Then there were various classes with the best peoples, Jodee and Geog Soc (Jod, Jiayi, Darre, Henna Hannah) and JOJO, HH and Ruiyan's very, VERY appropriate pressie HAHA TRUE ROCK HAHAHAHAHA i'm still laughing about it ((: AND THE VERY VERY VERY EMBARRASSING NOT SO SUBTLE BACKGROUND AND FRONTGROUND ON THE CARD!!! Omg, you guys! Embarrassing, embarrassing. Geog class was PAINFUL. But anyway, thanks, loves. Break time was spent with the hockers surprising me AGAIN with their makedo muffin of a cake and strawberry pokey and BALLOONS. B-A-L-L-O-O-N-S haha, made me smile (: Went through the whole day with a ginormas smile plastered on my face, SEE BIRTHDAYS ARE FUN! I guess it's just a day when you get to see how much everyone cares and that, that is the sweetest thing. Maybe that's why i get so high. All you need is love, right? (:
After school i went to meet Seth in the library. I tell you, he's retarded.. But very sweet! Haha, and so Seth the dog came about (: I felt like a little kid on the bus in my class hoodie and hugging a stuffed toy dog while on the 14 with Lysia and Makmur on our way to TOWN to meet the NO NUTS! Those words fit so perfectly together (((: Always. Met up with Jiayi, Max, Candy and Chiang and a couple of Chiang's CJ friends. IT WAS THE BEST WELCOME GREET EVER! Screaming and hugging, it was just like Crescent.. Only in Heeren (: I was a hungry monster so we went to the old Marche, this new place which was like the old Marche.. I don't see the difference except in the name. I guess it's like all of us. This year has changed us inevitably due to varying experiences but we're all the same nonetheless. No nuts, just guts. I love! I ate ROSTI AND MUSHROOM SOUP AND BANANA CARAMEL CREPES WITH CHOC MINT ICE CREAM so i was so so so happy hahaha. It was crazyness and i remembered why hanging out with Chiang was so embarrassing! Our dear Susilo Twohill, hasn't changed a single bit. Yay! I think we gave the exMarche people such headaches and i swear we were this close to being kicked out, and violently, too! But it was so much fun!!! Seth came to find me a while later and okay fine, even though he's retarded, he's made it to the sweetest-thing-anyone's-ever-done-for-me list. Thank you (: After that Zee and Yumama made their appearance, bringing along Zee's laptop which we happily camwhored with, trying out retarded shots. PICS UP WHEN I GET A HOLD OF THEM! I don't have many pics today but i'll get them from Max and Zee and stuffs (: Haha, Yujia let the cake slip out under her jacket and all was revealed!!! But yes, we happily awaited the arrival of BELLA! From San Fran haha.. AND IT WAS ONCE AGAIN CHAOS. I think it was damn funny when Max was trying to get us to take a photo under the "NO PHOTO TAKING HERE" sign and Zee was like, uh, MAX, *points*. Then our nice guy BOBBY (Special mention to Bobby who's picture i will paste up here cos he was so patient with us) came to take our photo and Max goes, YOU SURE? *POINTS* HAHAHAA. Then there was the weirdly slow proper redition of "Happy Birthday" with the nice nice berry cake which the ex-Marche peoples were so nice about giving us plates and letting us eat it there (: Yay, ex-marche has nice people!
When it was time for goodbyes, we hid under the outside staircase and again, GOT SURPRISED when everyone started yelling, YELLING, the proper Crescent HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Stares came from EVERYWHERE but i guess that is and forever will be our version of the Lady in Ladies and Leaders of TOMORROW ((((: I love you all so, so much. Thanks for making my birthday extra special and memorable and the very best. No nothings, just everything (:
Met mum and Li and Michy in HollandV for Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao! Had a great dinner with lovely company. I love my family. Dad's coming back in 45mins! And my MaMa called just now.. She never ever forgets (:
All in all, it's been an excellent birthday and thanks everyone cos it's you guys who made it special and fun (: I'll never forget the day i turned seventeen. *grinnns.
Lord, thank you for today and for reminding me in a week when i felt like my world was getting to heavy to carry on without breaking down and when everything was piling up on each other, thank you for reminding me what i have to live for. And Lord, as i venture on into this new and exciting year ahead, help me to keep what's important in mind always. Lord, i feel unworthy of all the blessings you've showered upon me - My Family and Friends, and everything else that have enabled me to live the amazing life filled with smiles and laughter and tears and fears and ups and downs to the fullest. Thank you, Lord, because without You, I'd be nothing. Amen.
